Student Employment wants to recognize the extraordinary work our student employees and student employee supervisors have done throughout the year. Submissions are judged based on the leadership and professionalism of candidates, and move on to the regional level. We are requesting nominations for both UND Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) and UND Student Employment Supervisor of the Year (SESOTY)! Learn more about these awards.
Nominations are due Sunday, Jan. 31, 2022.
The Supervisor of the Year award was established to recognize the invaluable role our supervisors play in the development of our student employees. Nominations will be judged on the following characteristics: mentoring, professionalism, and excellent leadership provided to the student employee.
The 2022 UND Student Employee of the Year winner will be awarded a $500 scholarship, courtesy of the Office of Student Finance at the 2022 UND Leadership Awards on April 15, 2022. Runner-ups may be nominated for one of eight Annual Awards based on the eight NACE competencies.
UND works in conjunction with the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators and the National Association of College Employers to award the SEOTY & SESOTY honor.
Share your student employee story
The Office of Student Finance is asking you to share short videos, photos, and experiences so they can be compiled for a video we will release at the end of 2022 Student Employee Appreciation Week and share on social media. If you would like to share any videos, photos, or spotlights of your student workers with Student Employment or any media for recognition, the permission of those pictured is required.
