BatSuBot Robotics Competition is Friday, Dec. 9

This is one event you don’t want to miss: the 2nd Annual BatSuBot Robotics Competition on Friday, Dec. 9 at 12 p.m., hosted by the College of Engineering & Mines.

A combination of BattleBot and SumoBot robot competitions, UND students are challenged to design, build, and operate a robot that can force opponents’ robots out of the ring.

Held in the Leonard Hall Lecture Bowl (Room 100), everyone is invited to spectate and cheer on this bot-to-bot showdown. Bragging rights aren’t the only prize to be won; students will also compete for a chance to win awards. This event will also be livestreamed via Zoom.

Led and organized by Tarek Elderini, an instructor in the School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, last year’s event marked the first class-organized robotics competition of its kind.

This year’s competition is sponsored by The Toro Company, Tati’s Mediterranean Saveur and Retrax.
