Open parking for UND guests during Homecoming Week, Oct. 2-6

UND will offer free parking for on-campus guests during Homecoming Week on Oct. 2-6.

All guests are welcome to park in any hourly pay, “A” or “S” lot without charge throughout Homecoming Week.

UND Parking Services, however, will continue to regulate safety guidelines. What does this mean? Violations that could cause safety hazards to others will be cited. These conditions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Parking in a No Parking Zone.
  • Parking on sidewalks/grass.
  • Parking in designated fire lanes.

Rules under the American with Disabilities Act will continue to be enforced throughout the week. You may not park in an ADA space without posting your proper placard in your vehicle. Further, the rules remain in place for all maintenance and service vehicle spaces, special reserved spaces and ramp-permitted areas (apart from events designating ramp parking).

On-campus residence hall parking will be monitored and enforced as usual. These areas include:

  • Prairie Rose
  • Wheatgrass
  • Elm
  • Bismarck
  • Meadowlark
  • Chokecherry

Permit-holders are expected to continue parking in their assigned spaces.

Thank you,
