HLC student opinion survey will be conducted Feb. 5-14

The Higher Learning Commission is the institutional accrediting association that comprehensively evaluates our institution every 10 years. The University of North Dakota is going through such an evaluation process this academic year.

As a part of this evaluation process, a student opinion survey will be conducted from Feb. 5 to 14, gathering student feedback and comments about their experience at UND. A summary of this input will be provided to the team of representatives from the Higher Learning Commission who will be visiting our campus in April 2024. The answers and comments students provide for this survey are anonymous and participation is completely voluntary, but we do hope to have good participation from the student body.

An email from the President’s Office to all students will go out on Feb. 5 and 9 about the survey. We wanted to make the UND community aware of this in case you are asked about the survey by students. Please reach out to Shane Schellpfeffer, director of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, at if you have any questions about the survey or the HLC campus visit occurring April 22-23, 2024.
