Annual enrollment gives employees the opportunity to: enroll for insurance coverage in plans for which they are not currently participating, add\/remove dependents or increase\/decrease coverage levels.<\/p>\n<p>Changes to insurance coverage will be effective on Jan. 1, 2026 (expect pending life insurance approvals). The information regarding the annual enrollment is available on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The UND HR website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/campus.und.edu\/human-resources\/employees\/benefits\/open-enrollment.html\">UND Open Enrollment<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The NDPERS Website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndpers.nd.gov\/active-members\/annual-enrollment\">Annual Enrollment | NDPERS<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enrollment is done online on the NDPERS Member Self Service website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndpers.nd.gov\/member-self-service-mss\">Member Self Service (MSS) | NDPERS<\/a><\/strong> (click on the red annual enrollment box).<\/p>\n<p>Further Information and instructions can be found in the NDPERS Member Self Service Guide: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndpers.nd.gov\/sites\/www\/files\/documents\/members-additional-information\/mss-employee-guide.pdf\">MSS Employee Guide<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The last day to make any changes to your insurance benefits online or by paper is Friday, Nov. 7. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are not making any changes to your current benefits, no action is required.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please contact the Benefits Office at 777.2158 or <strong><a href=\"mailto:brandi.byrne@und.edu\">brandi.byrne@UND.edu<\/a><\/strong> with any questions regarding your insurance benefits options.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NDPERS annual enrollment period is Oct. 20 through Nov. 7.
