Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving

President Armacost sends holiday wishes, discusses mental health resources

In this video message, President Andrew Armacost wishes the campus community a happy Thanksgiving and encourages everyone to take some time off to spend with family and friends, and to give thanks for one another.

He also discusses mental health resources, including the University Counseling Center, the UCC Wellbeing app, and more. He also discussed the Green Bandana Project, a national program in which those who have gone through training wear a green bandana on their backpack to signal that you can talk to them about mental health issues. Some UND student athletes are taking part, and the president hopes to expand the program across campus.

Armacost also mentions the Thursday, Dec. 2, Town Hall at noon, in which he and fellow UND leaders will discuss the federal vaccine mandate and answer questions.

He wishes the community a great Thanksgiving and peaceful remainder of the semester.
