Inviting involvement in UND’s new strategic plan

President Armacost is joined by special guests in video message

President Armacost is joined by guests Lynette Krenelka and Jim Mochoruk, co-chairs of UND’s strategic planning initiative, in this video.

Krenelka, the executive director of UND’s Teaching Transformation and Development Academy (TTaDA), says she’s been impressed by the number of people who want to be involved in the strategic planning process, and said they are finding ways to make sure everyone’s voices will be heard.

Mochoruk, a Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor of History, discusses the next steps in the process. He notes that seven working groups have been formed to work on individual themes, while the Strategic Planning Committee is looking at the mission, values and vision of UND for the future.

Krenelka and Mochoruk invite the campus and community to be involved by attending an open house from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the Memorial Union, and through the “feedback” button on the strategic planning website.

Mochoruk says that the committee is striving for complete transparency, and that information, data, and minutes are on the website.

President Armacost ends the video by thanking everyone who is coming together to craft the future of campus.
