For the first time in over a decade, the Air Force’s premier aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, will perform at Grand Forks Air Force Base at the Northern Thunder Air & Space Expo on Saturday, June 18.

This event is free and open to the public. The gates open at 8:30 a.m. and flying begins at about 11 a.m.

Grand Forks Air Force Base is getting very excited to host friends and neighbors Saturday, June 18. But the organizers need volunteers, and UND — a proud sponsor of the Air & Space Expo — is asking members of the UND community to help. Due to a change in the parking plan, volunteers are needed on the day of the show, and more duties and days might be added. The link to sign up is here:
