VIDEO: President talks with Strategic Plan Committee co-chairs

Leaders offer update for campus

In this week’s video address, President Armacost is joined by Lynette Krenelka, executive director of UND’s Teaching Transformation and Development Academy or TTaDA, and Jim Mochoruk, professor of history, who co-chair UND’s Strategic Planning Committee. Armacost invites them to provide updates about the planning process.

This summer, Krenelka, Mochoruk and their team hosted as many as 50 focus group sessions providing feedback on UND’s potential strategic priorities, the co-chairs report. Seven working groups have since used that feedback to develop final reports with recommendations and action plans for the UND Strategic Plan.

Later this month, the co-chairs hope to share the results of that work with the campus community.

Now, the committee is seeking feedback on the newly drafted Mission, Vision and Core Values for UND that will serve as the preamble for the overall plan. The draft is publicly available to read, and a short survey is live until Friday, Sept. 16, to provide feedback.

Armacost notes how much engagement and enthusiasm he has seen from all UND stakeholders and offers his thanks for their support.
