VIDEO: Spring tidings from UND

President Armacost updates the campus on April activities and looks forward to Commencement

In last week’s video address to campus, President Armacost walks around campus, and talks about winter weather and events on the way for the UND community.

The video was released before the April 4 blizzard, so it starts by explaining why the administration closed the campus for the three days that were to follow. The University will keep the community updated about the latest conditions as temperatures rise and snow melts into spring, Armacost says. Considering all of the snow that has fallen since winter began, flood conditions will be monitored with care, and updated communications will be issued regularly..

Armacost also talks about the recent grand opening of the Varsity Esports facility in Swanson Hall, Graduate Student Appreciation Week and the upcoming Grad Expo on April 12 at the UND Bookstore.

Later in April, UND will once again be celebrating Time Out Week and hosting the Wacipi Powwow, Armacost notes. The event starts April 21.

Armacost closes by congratulating the University’s Club Swimming Team, which placed highly in the College Club Swimming National Championship in early April.
