You could spend thousands of dollars to go to Disney World and see a fantasy Main Street parade.
Or you can come to Grand Forks during Potato Bowl week, and see the real thing for free. And if you couple that outing with a trip to the French Fry feed in University Park (also free), plus taking in the UND football game against Northern Arizona (free again … well, if you’re a UND student, at least), you’ll wind up enjoying an all-American experience that rivals anything the Magic Kingdom has to offer.
