The University of North Dakota is excited to host UND LEADS: Broad Perspectives on National Security, an important new discussion series focusing on key topics of national security.

Retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori J. Robinson, the first woman to lead a U.S. combatant command, will be the inaugural speaker at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, in the Memorial Union Ballroom.

Gen. Robinson, the former commander of the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), will kick off the discussion series in the form of a “fireside chat” with UND President Andrew Armacost.

In-person attendance is sold out for this event, but those interested are encouraged to tune in to the YouTube livestream of the conversation.

More information about the event, including a biography for Gen. Robinson, is available on the Office of the President website.
