UND and StackRoute Learning, a subsidiary of the National Institute of Information Technology — a global professional training leader — have announced a partnership to deliver career-focused online technology boot camps in rapidly growing fields such as cybersecurity, cloud systems administration, data analytics, artificial intelligence and software development.

This collaboration reflects UND’s long-standing legacy of embracing alternative education opportunities to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. By combining UND’s dedication to academic excellence with StackRoute Learning’s expertise, these boot camps offer an innovative and impactful approach to technology education.

StackRoute Learning Inc. is a division of the NIIT, a partner to more than 90 Fortune 500 organizations for IT skill development. The company’s methodologies and certification-focused training empower learners to master essential skills and secure recognized credentials for competitive advantage in the job market.

Online tech programs offers certification-focused approach

The online tech boot camps feature a curriculum designed to meet the needs of both learners and employers. Students will gain hands-on experience with the latest tools, technologies and methodologies while preparing for certifications in their chosen fields.

The program goes beyond technical skills by providing career development support and soft skills training, including:

  • 1:1 coaching: Personalized mentorship to guide students through their learning journey and career path.
  • Resume and job interview training: Tailored workshops and feedback to build confidence and present skills effectively.
  • Virtual internship opportunities: Real-world project experience to help students build their portfolios.
  • AI-driven tutoring: Proprietary technology providing customized learning support to ensure mastery of challenging topics.

Preparing students for short- and long-term success

“These boot camps are a natural extension of UND’s mission to provide innovative educational pathways that prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world,” said Lynette Krenelka, executive director of the Teaching Transformation & Development Academy’s Office of Extended Learning at UND.

“Through this partnership with StackRoute Learning, we’re equipping our students with not only cutting-edge technical skills but also the professional expertise they need to achieve long-term success.”

Rob Bishop, StackRoute’s vice president of University Partnerships, agreed.

“NIIT and StackRoute are proud to partner with UND, an institution that shares our vision for empowering learners through education and innovation,” he said. “Together, we are creating a platform for learners to access industry-relevant skills and transformative career opportunities.”

The online tech boot camps are delivered 100% online, making them accessible to learners across the country. With flexible scheduling and robust support, students can advance their skills while balancing other commitments.
