For more than a century, Homecoming has brought UND alumni and friends together to celebrate and show their UND pride. Fresh off another year of record enrollment, Homecoming 2026 offered plenty to celebrate.

Events across campus and the community brought students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends together. A pep rally filled downtown Grand Forks with UND spirit, and members of the campus community made their mark on UND’s future by signing a beam for the Engineering and Science complex that’s under construction.

Saturday was filled with Homecoming traditions: a parade down University Avenue, tailgating at the Alerus Center and Fighting Hawks football.

The football game provided one more reason to celebrate. After falling behind Murray State 21-0, the Fighting Hawks scored 55 straight points to win 55-28, securing the 700th victory in UND football history.

UND photographers were there throughout the week to capture the people, traditions and moments that made Homecoming 2026 one to remember.
