Back by popular demand, UND\u2019s Department of Theatre Arts will close its 2024-25 season with \u201cUnrehearsed Shakespeare,\u201d performing three different shows in three nights.<\/p>\n

Join UND Theatre for\u00a0\u201cTaming of the Shrew\u201d on April 24<\/a>,\u00a0\u201cMacbeth\u201d on April 25<\/a>, and\u00a0\u201cTwelfth Night\u201d on April 26<\/a>, completely unrehearsed.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnrehearsed Shakespeare\u201d is a dynamic performance technique invented and spearheaded by guest director Bill Kincaid. Armed with scrolls and text analysis of their own roles, cast members walk into each show unaware of who is playing who. From there, let the games begin!<\/p>\n

Kincaid\u2019s technique, layered into Shakespearean text, informs actors where to go and what to do and often encourages light audience participation. Whether you come for your favorite or check out all three, rest assured each performance will offer something that\u2019s never been done before.<\/p>\n
