The campus community is invited to the latest installment of the UND LEADS: Broad Perspectives on National Security speaker series.<\/p>\n

President Andrew Armacost will host a fireside chat with Ben Davies, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector, from\u00a02:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Memorial Union Ballroom<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In his role at Northrop Grumman, Davies oversees the delivery of missiles and other tactical weapons systems critical to America\u2019s land-based deterrence capabilities. The pair will discuss a range of issues pertaining to national security, and Northrop Grumman\u2019s role in addressing them.<\/p>\n

All are invited to attend this free event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each fall and spring semester, UND invites a prominent, national expert to speak at an event hosted by Armacost. This series serves as a complement to the University\u2019s\u00a0National Security Initiative<\/a><\/strong>, which focuses on research and educating tomorrow\u2019s workforce leaders in national security.<\/p>\n
