On July 14-16, UND had a large in-flux of requests to pages and resources on the main UND servers.\u00a0UIT indicated hackers were probing for vulnerabilities. They didn\u2019t find any, but some Modern Campus (Omni) form users reported getting hundreds of spam form submissions during that time.<\/p>\n

To prevent future issues, UIT enabled Google\u2019s reCAPTCHA on Modern Campus (Omni) forms.\u00a0 It is not automatically added to forms. All site owners must go into each individual form to add the CAPTCHA.<\/p>\n

  1. Open your form(s) asset<\/li>\n
  2. Check the \u201cInclude CAPTCHA\u201d checkbox in the Form Settings (see screenshot below)<\/li>\n
  3. Publish the form asset<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
