{"id":1775,"date":"2026-05-04T11:21:50","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T16:21:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/web-redesign\/?p=1775"},"modified":"2026-05-04T11:22:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T16:22:16","slug":"uit-upgraded-und-directory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.und.edu\/web-redesign\/2026\/05\/uit-upgraded-und-directory\/","title":{"rendered":"UIT Upgraded\u00a0UND Directory\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UIT upgraded to a new UND Directory system\u00a0and hosting environment, which\u00a0impacts\u00a0the Directory edit page, auto people listing snippets, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/und.edu\/academics\/recognition\/index.html\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">student achievement lists<\/span><\/a>,<span data-contrast=\"auto\"> including the President\u2019s Honor Roll, Dean\u2019s List, and list of graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This update has been a long time coming. The Directory has not functioned properly since August 2023. The biggest issue was that employee data was not always automatically synced with PeopleSoft, meaning new hires and departures were not consistently reflected in the Directory. The update resolved this issue.<\/p>\n<p>Due to staff turnover within UIT, Marketing &amp; Communications was not involved in the rollout, and the system went live without our review. We are currently working to understand what has changed and how it impacts web pages.
