April 2022

Wellness Spotlight

April is Stress Awareness Month! While stress in small doses is a good thing, chronic stress can cause extreme health issues. Each year millions of Americans face the accumulation of stress from everyday events. In a survey conducted by the American Psychological Association it was found that 94% of workers reported feeling stress at work, and 63% of US workers are ready to quit their job to avoid work-related stress.  We all experience stress in many different ways, learning to cope with our stress and finding healthy ways to deal with these situations can go a long way in living a healthy and positive life.

In April’s Wellness Spotlightyou will learn how stress can affect you and the benefits of reducing your stress.

What's Happening?!

Work Well started a new campaign called 'GRIT Worthy Glow-Ups' to share positive, uplifting quotes that are aimed at creating a ‘glow-up’-esque current throughout campus. If we can make a wave with one person that creates a positive influence on another person, a domino effect has essentially ensued – spreading resiliency and grit – one quote at a time, to bring smiles and some much deserved light-heartedness throughout campus. So get ready to glow-up UND! Check it out on Facebook, Instagram, and campus digital displays!

We want to celebrate YOU! All events are FREE!
