Don't Hibernate this Winter Season!

There's no denying winter is here! For some people, winter is a breeze and other question why their belts may be fitting a little too tight. Food consumption, darkness, and winter festivities can all play a roll in winter weight gain, fatigue, and lack of motivation.

DID YOU KNOW: Oversleeping, changes in appetite, weight gain, tiredness / low energy are all symptoms specific to winter-onset SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

Talk to your doctor if you feel down for days at a time and you cannot get motivated to do activities you normally enjoy. This is especially important if your sleep patterns or appetite have changed, you turn to substances for comfort or relaxation, or you feel hopeless or think about suicide.
