Free wellness and health event is Sept. 8 in Lincoln Park

Wellness & Health in the Parks (WHIP it) will bring together our community – active military, veterans and civilians – to celebrate the awesome community of Greater Grand Forks – and it’s free.  The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lincoln Park.

During the event, physical fitness activities will take place every half hour at designated locations (for example: yoga, running workshop, etc). At 7 p.m., activities will pause for a special event that will unite the military and civilian communities in a unique way.

Throughout the event, walking tacos (or tacos in a bag) and refreshments will be for sale. We’ll also have an inflatable jousting arena.
