May 5: Special Denim Spirit Day

The Special Denim Spirit Day, Friday, May 5, will be for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the annual MS Walk on May 20 in Grand Forks.

Walk MS is an inspiring event – but it’s so much more than just a walk! Walk MS is the 7th largest fundraising walk event in the United States, raising nearly $50 million dollars every year to help STOP MS in its tracks, RESTORE function that’s been lost, and END MS forever. Your generous contributions help ensure that:

• Each person with MS can live their best life with more connections to information, resources, and others with shared experiences
• Accelerated research breakthroughs change lives and end MS forever
• The voices of people affected by MS are heard and drive change wherever it is needed
• Everyone who wants to do something about multiple sclerosis can fuel progress

Be comfortable and wear denim and/or UND colors or clothing.  Please donate to your Denim Day area coordinator or send your donations directly to Twamley Hall Room 300, Stop 8193 with Special Denim Day on the envelope no later than Friday, May 12. Checks should be made out to “Denim Day.”
