Merrifield Competition deadline is April 27

The deadline for the submission of papers for the 2017-18 Merrifield Competition is fast approaching.  The competition awards a $1,000 UND scholarship to the UND student who writes the most outstanding research paper utilizing primary source materials held in the Elwyn B. Robinson Department of Special Collections.

A four member faculty jury will judge the papers: Mary Baker, Teaching and Learning; Hans Broedel, History; Adam Kitzes, English; and Becky Simmons, Biology.
