Staff Senate Tubs of Love campaign continues for ninth year

UND Staff Senate is pleased to continue the Tubs of Love campaign, now in its 9th year. They have selected the Circle of Friends Humane Society and the Sunshine Memorial Home as our recipients this year.  Donations will be accepted from Nov. 14 through Dec. 12.

The Circle of Friends Humane Society gives pets of all kinds a second chance for a permanent, loving home.

The Sunshine Hospitality Home is a place for patients and their families, affected by critical illnesses, diseases, and injuries, who must travel to fulfill their healthcare needs. This hospitality house provides individuals with a place to sleep, eat, keep their belongings, relax and find comfort. It will be open to all ages and situations and will welcome families from the Grand Forks area and surrounding region. A place of compassion, a place of peace.

Tubs of Love donation item ideas for Sunshine Hospitality Home: K-cups, coffee (regular and decaf), granola bars, any sealed snack foods, spices, items to stock their pantries, cases of bottled water, dish soap, laundry soap, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, paper towels, and napkins.

Tubs will be at the following locations: Aerospace (Odegard), EERC, Facilities, Medical School, Merrifield, Memorial Union, Twamley, Wellness Center, Chester Fritz Library, Housing, Law School, Engineering, McCannel Hall, Education Bldg., Gamble Hall, Columbia Hall.
