Mother-daughter STEM session on Jan. 26 is open to girls ages 5-13

A mother-daughter STEM session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Grand Forks Public Library.

Mechanical, electrical and chemical challenges will be provided. The event is sponsored by the UND Society of Women Engineers in collaboration with the Grand Forks Air Force Base STEM Program and the Library.

The event is free and open to mothers with daughters ages 5-13. A total of 25 mother-daughter teams will be accepted; call 701.772.8116, ext. 13, to register. Deadline is Jan. 23.
