Museum of Art and Art Department offer metalsmithing classes for adults

The North Dakota Museum of Art and the University of North Dakota’s Art and Design department are teaming up to offer you eight metalsmithing workshops. These workshops are for adults ages 18 and older. Each workshop focuses on making a specific piece while teaching you new skills unique to that piece. There is no experience necessary, all materials are provided & you take home what you make.
The workshops take place in the metalsmithing classroom, room 235, in the Hughes Fine Arts Center on the campus of UND and are taught by Malissa Kuznicki. Malissa has 15 years of experience in the commercial jewelry industry. Her work has been exhibited internationally and has been on the cover of Metalsmith magazine. She received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and a Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. Malissa currently teaching jewelry and metalsmithing at the University of North Dakota.
