Parking permits go on sale July 15

Parking permit sales for 2019-20 begin July 15.

They will be effective Aug. 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020, and current permits will be honored through Aug. 15. The change in effective dates is to accommodate students and faculty in programs such as law or medicine who begin classes before the official first day of school, which is Monday, Aug. 26. Previously, they were required to purchase a permit for Aug. 1-15, and a second permit for the school year. This change will help students whose programs start early to save money.

  • Available for purchase online only. No need to wait in a line.
  • Immediate access to campus once permit is purchased and linked to a license plate.
  • If you have no license plate, add the last eight digits of the VIN in the plate section. Rentals/loaner vehicles must be added by Parking Services.

Effective changes:

  • Payroll deduction starts Sept. 1, 2019, and will continue with 18 payments or until paid in full.
  • Effective July 1, 2019, payroll deductions for employee parking permits will be processed as an after-tax deduction rather than a before-tax deduction.
  • Parking permits are effective August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020.
  • Permits will not be required August, 2 for summer commencement.
  • Be observant to zone changes in several lots.
  • New parking lot layouts in the Burtness and Gustafson area are coming soon.
