Table captains sought for ‘The Longest Table’ event Sept. 4

One day. One table. A thousand conversations.

Table captains are sought for The Longest Table, an annual event that welcomes residents to sit down for a free dinner in a welcoming environment with people they may not know. The goal is to foster stronger connections, exchange stories, and share ideas about the community.

It is set for 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at University Ave. and N. 25th St.

Table captains will be given a list of questions over the course of the evening, and they help to facilitate the conversation at their assigned table. If you are interested, please check the box “Yes! I want to be a table captain” when you register at www.longesttablegf.com.

The Longest Table is free and open to all.

It is sponsored by Main Street Grand Forks, UND, The Community Foundation, City of Gdrand Forks, Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals, Hugo’s, Altru, Aleerus, JLG Architects, Greater Grand Forks, Acme Tools, and EERC.
