State of the University and Wake Up to UND addresses set for Sept. 23 and 24

President Wynne and other administrators from UND will give the State of the University address at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, in Education 7. Because there is limited space at the venue, arriving early is advised.

The same presentation will be given at Wake Up to UND, a Greater Grand Forks community event sponsored by The Chamber, at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. That event is sold out, and there is a waiting list for tickets. For more information, contact Kimberly Strom at the Chamber, 772.7271.

The theme of both events is “Together, We Build the Future.” Presenters will include President Joshua Wynne, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Tom DiLorenzo, Vice President for Marketing & Communications Meloney Linder, Vice President for Finance & Operations Jed Shivers, Interim Vice president for Research & Economic Development John Mihelich, Student Body President Gracie Lian, and Alumni Association and Foundation CEO DeAnna Carlson Zink.

The Wake Up to UND presentation will be recorded, and a video link will be available via UND Today for those who are unable to attend either event.
