Customer Discovery Short Course offered by Center for Innovation

The Customer Discovery Short Course provides faculty and/or student lead teams a pathway to commercializing their product/idea. Throughout the five-week course, participants will discover who their customers are and how best they can reach them. In addition, participants will also learn what values their product, idea, or prototype can bring to consumer’s lives and society at large. With the Customer Discovery Short Course, innovations discovered in the lab can be introduced to the marketplace faster than ever. 

The course will be held at the Idea Lab at the UND Center for Innovation, 4200 James Ray Drive Grand Forks, ND, on a five-week schedule.

  • Week 1, Monday, Oct. 21: Face-to-face kick-off meeting at 9 a.m.
  • Week 2,  Monday, Oct. 28: Webinar
  • Week 3, Monday, Nov. 4: Half-day meeting from 9-11 a.m.
  • Week 4, Monday, Nov. 11: Webinar
  • Week 5, Monday, Nov. 18: Final presentation from 9-11 a.m.
