COVID-19 testing will take place on campus Thursday, July 30

Reminder: COVID-19 testing will be held Thursday, July 30, for UND community members

COVID-19 testing will be held for the University community and their family members on Thursday, July 30.

If you are returning to campus next week, it’s important to consider being tested, especially if you are experiencing any symptoms.

The testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until testing kits are exhausted, at UND’s High Performance Center, 2419 2nd Ave. N. The hours between 9 and 10:30 a.m. are reserved for Athletics; testing is open after 10:30 a.m. for students, faculty, staff, and UND affiliates.

This will be a walk-up event. Face coverings or masks are required and six-foot distancing is expected.

Information on wait times, as well as other testing communications, is available at https://campus.und.edu/safety/emergencies/covid-testing.html.

UND students are asked to use their local North Dakota address when registering or pre-registering.

Please pre-register with the N.D. Department of Health. If you are unable to pre-register, you may also register at the testing site. Those under age 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian. Please note that pre-registering does not guarantee a test.

There  is no cost or need for insurance.

At this time, testing is only available for UND students, faculty, staff, family members and affiliates. If additional tests are available later in the day, UND will announce testing is open for Greater Grand Forks residents.

The testing will be conducted by the North Dakota National Guard, and is a cooperative effort between the N.D. Health Department, National Guard, UND, and Grand Forks Public Health.

Future testing is set to take place Aug. 6, 13, 19, 20, 21, and 23.
