Lori Hofland will retire Dec. 31

Lori Hofland, administrative assistant in the registrar’s office, will retire Dec. 31 after 32 years at UND.

Lori started her career at UND in the housing office and worked there from 1988 to 1989 as a part-time administrative secretary.  Lori moved to Rural Health where she served from 1989 – 1991 as an administrative secretary. In 1991 she moved to the Graduate School as the administrative secretary to the dean until 2001.

She then found her home in the Registrar’s Office where she trained in four registrars as an administrative assistant. Lori provided administrative support to the University Senate for last 19 years and managed the academic catalog, transitioning it from paper to the electronic version today.

She will fill her time with her family, her grandchildren, spending time in Arizona, trips to Sturgis, and enjoying all those special moments in life.

Although no public party will be held at this time, we encourage you to send Lori your congratulations and wish her well as she begins her next chapter.  She will be missed in our office!
