VIDEO: Transforming Merrifield Hall

During the University’s annual Wake Up to UND breakfast, guests were treated to an update on the renovation of Merrifield Hall.

Amid the transformation of one of UND’s century-old buildings, faculty and administrators set the stage for what awaits future teachers and students.

New, flexible, technology-enabled classrooms will support active, collaborative learning. Also being introduced is a Café for Active Language Learning, which blends language instruction with a more informal, social environment.

The project is also committed to accessibility, with new ADA-compliant features and a skywalk connecting Merrifield to Twamley Hall.
