Construction Updates

A quick update on construction at the Chester Fritz Library:

Asbestos removal continues on the east side of the 2nd floor. The Fish Bowl is inaccessible as a result. Visitors to the administrative offices should check in at the Circulation desk, and library personnel will take you back to them.

The 1st floor will no longer be accessible after Friday, Jan 11th. We will be moving the collections there to temporary storage at the Wilson M. Laird Core Library. If you need an item listed as shelved on the first floor, please submit an InterLibrary Loan request so we can retrieve it for you.

We are removing shelving to open additional study space, which will be located along the south wall of the 3rd floor, in the west half of the building. We anticipate this space will be ready for use by the beginning of the Spring semester.

We apologize for any inconvenience during this process, and ask you to bear with us. The end result will be worth the trouble. In the meantime, if you encounter any difficulties please let us know.
