CNPD Honorees Recognized at UND Founders Day

During this year’s Founders Day celebration at the University of North Dakota, the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines proudly celebrated two outstanding team members.

Jessica Parlato, Academic Advisor & Recruiting Specialist, received the VPAA Award for Outstanding Professional Academic Advising. In her nomination, a student shared, “Usually I have a plethora of questions that I come in with, and she helps me figure them out. She is very attentive, understanding, and compassionate and she always motivates me to do my best. She will always help me find the extra resources that I need help finding.”

Jessica’s recognition highlights her dedication to student success and the meaningful support she provides every day.

Valerie Bauer, Academic Advisor & Recruiting Specialist, was honored for 25 Years of Service to UND, celebrating her long-standing commitment and impact on students and the campus community.

We congratulate Jessica and Valerie on their well-deserved recognition and thank them for the difference they make for CNPD and UND.
