Dr. Dawn Denny Named Fellow of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON)

Dr. Dawn L. Denny, Ph.D., R.N., O.N.C., Associate Professor for Nursing in the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) at the University of North Dakota (UND), has been selected as a Fellow of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON) Class of 2025. The NAON Fellow Designation (FNAON) demonstrates commitment to the orthopaedic nursing profession beyond the normal role requirement and the highest standards of practice. This esteemed recognition, the highest honor in orthopaedic nursing, acknowledges Dr. Denny’s leadership and contributions to the field at regional, state, national, and global levels.
Dr. Denny specializes in orthopaedics and geriatric syndromes, bringing knowledge and experience to her role at UND. Her dedication to advancing orthopaedic nursing is evident in her research and commitment to educating future nursing professionals.
The induction ceremony will take place during the NAON Annual Congress on Saturday, May 16.
