Mary Beth Votava Receives Growth Wheel Certification

MINOT, ND – The North Dakota Small Business Development Centers (ND SBDC) is proud to announce that Mary Beth Votava, has successfully completed the GrowthWheel program and is now officially recognized as a GrowthWheel Certified Business Advisor and GrowthWheel Certified Partner.

Since joining the ND SBDC in July of 2000, Mary Beth Votava has consistently demonstrated her dedication to the program and the small businesses of North Dakota. Serving seven counties in north central North Dakota from the Minot center, Mary Beth has been a trusted advisor, supporting entrepreneurs and businesses in various stages of growth and development.

Mary Beth’s extensive qualifications and expertise make her an invaluable asset to the ND SBDC network. Alongside her new GrowthWheel certification, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Minot State University. Furthermore, she is a Certified Business Advisor, Business Certified Appraiser, Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, and Accredited Business Intermediary.

With a diverse skill set that encompasses accounting, lending and finance, strategic planning, loan packaging, government procurement, succession planning, business buy/sell planning, business valuation, and business recovery work, Mary Beth Votava consistently goes above and beyond to serve her clients and the small business community.

The ND SBDC is a statewide outreach program of the Center for Business Engagement & Development within the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration at the University of North Dakota. Since its inception in 1986, the ND SBDC network has helped business owners and entrepreneurs start, manage, and grow their small businesses through confidential, individualized, professional business advising and training workshops. Services are provided at no-cost to clients thanks to funding from U.S. Small Business Administration, ND Department of Commerce, and local supporters across the state.
