What to Bring for Welcome Weekend

Parents, we are very excited to welcome your students to campus this fall. No doubt they have already started thinking about what to bring. Please refer to this packing checklist when starting to pack to see what your student should and shouldn’t bring to campus: 

What Should I Bring:  Shouldn’t Bring: 
  • Extra-long twin sheets  
  • Pillow/pillowcases 
  • Comforter/bedspread 
  • Mattress pad 
  • Towels 
  • Shower caddy 
  • Hangers 
  • Laundry supplies/basket 
  • Bathroom cleaning supplies 
  • Small first-aid kit 
  • Outlet strip surge protected  
  • Fan 
  • Desk lamp 
  • Keurig 
  • Mini fridge (up to 5.0 cubic feet) 
  • Alcohol (even empty containers) 
  • Toasters 
  • Microwaves 
  • Open-flame devices (including candles) 
  • Pets (except for fish in aquariums under 20 gallons)
