Farewell reception for Deb Hanson, Renee Mabey, and Sonia Zimmerman June 19

On Wednesday, June 19, the SMHS Departments of Physical and Occupational Therapy will co-host a farewell reception for Sonia Zimmerman, Deb Hanson, and Renee Mabey.

Debra Hanson, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA, and Sonia Zimmerman, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA, are both professors in the Department of Occupational Therapy. Debra has been with UND for nearly 31 years and Sonia for more than 36 years. Renee Mabey, PT, Ph.D., has been with UND for more than 42 years, and as a professor in UND’s PT Department specifically for 30 years.

All told, this group has served UND in a variety of capacities for a combined 110 years!

The reception honoring all three faculty will be held in the SMHS West Atrium from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend to thank Deb, Renee, and Sonia for their service and wish them well as they move on from the SMHS.
