McLean and Montgomery to present on mental wellbeing and COVID on Nov. 9

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a strain on all of us, not only physically and socially, but financially, professionally, and personally. As such, several reports suggest that mental illness has been increasing rapidly over the past eight months.

But guidance, support, and help are available.

From noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, Dr. Andrew McLean, chair of the UND Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science, and Michelle Montgomery, wellness advocate for the SMHS, will present a webinar entitled “Wellness During COVID-19” for all SMHS faculty, students, and staff interested in taking learning more about how to address mental health matters amid a pandemic.
