Rural Health Interest Group to host inside look at emergency medicine on Dec. 7

The Rural Health Interest Group (RHIG) is hosting a hybrid event designed to give medical and health sciences students an inside peek at the world of emergency medicine on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences alumni Dr. Brian Skow, currently with Avera eCARE, will discuss emergency medicine with the RHIG from the perspective of telehealth; and Theo Stoller will share his perspective as an on-site ambulance crewman and CEO at Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center in Elgin, N.D. Both presenters will be available for questions for anyone interested in emergency care or rural medicine!

This event, slated for noon on Tuesday, Dec. 7, will be held both in person in SMHS Room W203 and via zoom at: https://und.zoom.us/j/96967061638?pwd=UmlBVXhySVlTaUlmSGFpWlo3TjBSdz09  (Meeting ID: 969 6706 1638 |  Passcode: 245189)
