LGBTQ+ healthcare symposium to be held at UND on Oct. 17

A half-day symposium on healthcare for members of the LGBTQ+ community is just around the corner.

“Sexual & Gender Diverse Communities: Best practices for healthcare and social service providers and staff” will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, in the UND Memorial Union Ballroom.

The event’s keynote speaker, Christina McGee, P.T., D.P.T., a physical therapist with Sullivan Physical Therapy, will discuss several aspects of healthcare for memebrs of the LGBTQ+ community. A panel discussion will follow Dr. McGee’s presentation.

The conference is sponsored by UND’s College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines, School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and Pride Center.
