UND research office to host Early Career Award program and reception on Dec. 6

The Office of UND’s Vice President for Research & Economic Development is hosting an Early Career Award program & networking event on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The event will be held at the Gorecki Alumni Center from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

UND’s Early Career Award program supports multi-disciplinary collaborations among early-stage faculty members at UND. SMHS-affiliated recipients of this award include Dr. Kumi Nagamoto-Combs, assistant professor in the SMHS Department of Biomedical Sciences, and Dr. Bo Liang, assistant professor in UND’s Department of Biomedical Engineering.

All early-stage faculty (assistant professors & research assistant professors) were eligible for the award. At this event, current award recipients will present research findings and the newly selected recipients will be announced.
