TLAS and Library Resources to Present Faculty Development on use of Artificial Intellegence (AI)

There are a number of ways AI can be used – and misused – in education and in research. Please join us for our January UND SMHS TLAS virtual faculty development event: “Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) at the SMHS.” On Jan. 17, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (CST), speakers Andrea Guthridge (Instructional Designer, Education Resources), Erika Johnson (Head of Library Resources), and Devon Olson (Research and Education Librarian, Library Resources) will discuss the many challenges and potential benefits of the use of AI at the SMHS and beyond. This session will be streamed on Zoom and recorded for later viewing.

This faculty development event is hosted by the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (TLAS) unit of Education Resources. Our faculty development sessions showcase topics of interest to the medical and health education community and are all free and open to anyone. Previous sessions can be streamed at any time from our website.

If you have any questions, would like more information, or would like to suggest a future meeting topic, please contact Andrea Guthridge (andrea.guthridge@UND.edu) or Adrienne Salentiny (adrienne.salentiny@UND.edu).
