Sara Gusaas is a new instructor with the UND Department of Occupational Therapy. Sara was born and raised in Grand Forks, N.D., and attended the University of North Dakota for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2017 and has worked in skilled nursing facilities, home health, inpatient psychiatric care, and intermediate care facilities, along with the State of North Dakota’s customized adaptive equipment program. Sara has worked as an adjunct instructor for the UND OT program for the past six years, moving to a more full-time role only recently. In her free time, Sara and her family enjoy attending UND sporting events, taking their dog on a walk, and going out to eat.
