McKenzi Sapaugh

McKenzi Sapaugh is a project coordinator with the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks. McKenzi works with the North Dakota State Office of Rural Health, focusing on the Scrubs programs and the Dakota Conference on Rural Health. She assists with event planning, coordinating continuing education credit availability at events, HIPPA training courses, and projects related to community outreach.

“I am proud to be working with schools and communities across North Dakota to create a future of homegrown healthcare providers that will help our state grow and thrive,” McKenzi said.

Before joining CRH, McKenzi worked as a clinical research coordinator with a focus on oncology and ophthalmology. Originally from Otsego, Minn., McKenzi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biotechnology from North Dakota State University, with minors in biochemistry, chemistry, vaccinology, and music.
