Traynor to speak at Wadhwani Family Dean’s Hour on Oct. 10

For the next Wadhwani Family Dean’s Hour, Associate Professor of Law Paul E. Traynor, J.D., M.L., will discuss the implications for healthcare students, researchers, and providers of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright Enters. V. Raimondo (also known as the Chevron case). The decision, which assigns the determination of ambiguities in congressional laws to the judicial branch, is likely to have major consequences for administrative law across sectors of the U.S. economy and affect multiple regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and National Science Foundation (NSF).

The presentation will be held in SMHS Room E101 (the Fee Auditorium) at noon on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Lunch will be provided.
