Publication Pandemonium! The first annual school-wide publication-themed quiz competition

Are you competitive and okay with it? Do you like to win cool prizes? Then get ready, because SMHS Library Resources is excited to announce the launch of the first annual Publication Pandemonium! event, a school-wide publication-themed quiz competition, taking place Oct. 21 to 27.  

Coinciding with International Open Access Week, this asynchronous online quiz is designed to test and expand your knowledge of scholarly communications and the open access publication process.

Prizes of UND merchandise will be awarded to the students with the first, second, and third highest scores, with the top scoring participant additionally receiving up to $500 dollars to fund their own open access publication or conference presentation. 

And that’s not all! This is also a competition between programs. The program with the most total passing-grade quiz submissions (from faculty, students, and staff) will win an additional $500 in open access publication funding as well as bragging rights for an entire year.
