First annual SMHS publication-themed quiz competition Publication Pandemonium! starts Oct. 21

The first annual Publication Pandemonium!, a school-wide publication-themed quiz competition, will run Oct. 21-27! 

To participate, navigate to the SMHS Library Resources Open Access Research guide, where the quiz link will go live on the morning of Oct. 21 and remain live until midnight on Oct. 27. 

Coinciding with International Open Access Week, this asynchronous online quiz is designed to test and expand your knowledge of scholarly communications and the open access publication process.

Prizes of UND merch will be awarded to the students with first, second, and third highest scores, with the top scoring participant additionally receiving up to $500 dollars to fund their own open access publication or conference presentation.

And that’s not all! This is also a competition between programs. The program with the most total passing-grade quiz submissions, from faculty, students, and staff, will win an additional $500 in open access publication funding as well as bragging rights for an entire year.
