Save the Date: Indigenous Trauma & Resilience Research Center Symposium April 24-25
Join us for the fourth annual Indigenous Trauma & Resilience Research Center (ITRRC) Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE) Symposium, to be held April 24-25 at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.
The ITRRC examines American Indian and Alaska Native health disparities through the lens of historical trauma and resilience to advance research, foster discovery, raise awareness, and create opportunities for healing. This annual two-day symposium features the Research Ethics Training for Health in Indigenous Communities (rETHICS), highlights the research activities of ITRRC junior investigators, and brings together respected leaders and knowledge holders in community-based research, health equity, and Indigenous health research.
The event will be held in the UND Memorial Union, Room 318AB:
- April 24: Research Ethics Training for Health in Indigenous Communities (rETHICS), available in-person only | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- April 25: Speaker Showcase featuring ITRRC junior investigators and respected leaders and knowledge holders in community-based research, health equity, and Indigenous health research. Available in-person and via Zoom | 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
